    This Privacy Policy describes how The Next Phase ('we', 'our', or 'the app') handles information in connection with its use of the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Graph API and the Google/YouTube Data API.

    1. About This App

    The Next Phase is a private content automation tool used solely by its owner to publish short-form video content to a single Facebook Page, a single Instagram Business account, and a single YouTube channel. It is not a platform, service, or product offered to third parties.

    2. Data We Access — Meta (Facebook/Instagram)

    • The Instagram Business account ID linked to our owned Facebook Page
    • Media upload endpoints to publish Reels and Page posts to our own accounts
    • Post performance metrics (views, reach, engagement) for our own published content

    We do not access, collect, or process data belonging to any other Instagram or Facebook users.

    3. Data We Access — Google (YouTube)

    This app uses the YouTube Data API v3 to manage content on a single, owned YouTube channel. Specifically, it accesses:

    • Ability to upload video files to our own YouTube channel
    • Ability to set and update video title, description, and scheduled publish time on our own uploads
    • Read-only access to our own channel's analytics (views, watch time, audience retention) via the YouTube Analytics API

    We do not access, collect, or process data belonging to any other YouTube channel, creator, or viewer. No data obtained through the Google API is shared with third parties, sold, or used for advertising.

    4. How We Use This Data

    Data accessed via these APIs is used exclusively to:

    • Publish video content the app owner created to their own Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube accounts
    • Retrieve performance analytics for the app owner's own published posts and videos

    No data is shared with third parties, sold, or used for advertising purposes.

    5. Data Storage

    Access tokens are stored locally on a private machine owned and operated by the app owner, and are not stored in any database, cloud service, or third-party system beyond what is required to run the automation (including GitHub Actions secrets, which are encrypted at rest and accessible only to the app owner).

    6. Data Retention and Deletion

    Access tokens remain valid until revoked by the app owner or by the account holder via their Google or Meta account settings. The app owner can delete all locally stored credentials at any time. No user-generated content data is retained beyond what is necessary to operate the publishing and analytics functions described above.

    7. Compliance

    This app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. This app also complies with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
